Everything about this post is spot on, except the last section concerning the book by Nehls. The idea that Covid and the mRNA shots were deliberately designed to hack your brain is absolutely ludicrous, barking at the Moon nonsense on par with the 9/11 Truthers.
And just like the case of the Truthers, it is a massive missed opportunity. The fact of the matter is, we really do have a feckless, incompetent, evil, and out-of-control government that does horrible things, but the government did not blow up the World Trade Center and they did not design Covid to be a brain hack. Frankly, that whole notion not only attributes far too much to the competence of government, it also commits the standard Western materialistic category error of reducing the mind to the brain. This kind of facile biologism is part and parcel of the Covid cult that we seek to oppose.
When earlier in the post you derisively referred to Covid-19 as "a bad cold," THAT was the correct attitude. It cannot be simultaneously nothing but a bad cold and a nefarious plot to erase the minds of humanity. Let's just stick with the facts.
This is why I am probably one of the last anti-Covidians who still rejects the lab leak theory. Viruses simply do not work that way and the pandemic could not have been deliberately engineered even if they had wanted to.

Over these past four years, after the initial hysteria wound down, I have noticed that the migration is consistently from the "blue-pilled" to the "red-pilled." Anecdotal admittedly, but I do not know of one single case of the opposite. I have yet to hear one single "skeptic," "denier," "truther," or "anti-vaxxer" suddenly exclaim; "well by golly, I've been risking my life by not wearing a mask, and putting myself and all of you at risk of imminent death by not getting vaxxed. Quickly, please tell me where I can get my jabs and boosters, and while I'm at it, to whom should I transfer all of my wealth to in order to cool the planet, and where can I buy my pronouns?"
My friend is a nurse at an undisclosed hospital and from the get-go she has had to put up with the lunacy of the administration's heavy handed edicts and demands. She resisted all of the shots, suffered the ignominy of going from "hero" to "zero" and has steadfastly continued to share the gospel of truth about the dreaded vid, the insanity and ineffectiveness of all of the "countermeasures," and absolute danger of these jabs. Over time her group has grown and once awakened, not one single person has switched to the side of the "woke enlightenment." Instead we stay humbly and thankfully within the realm of the great unwashed bitter clingers.
I have also witnessed the shrinking of the "blue-pilled" herd in the drop in compliance of the mask wearers. Our locality recently issued more masking guidance, and it was essentially ignored. However, that being said, there is a segment of the population that will never give up their masks and will stand in line for their next booster, and once received will mark their their calendar for the next one as well.
For me, the only benefit of the masks is that now I know who to immediately avoid, whereas before I most likely would have had to start talking to them to realize that irrationality, paranoia, and submissiveness were their preferred state of being.
